Q: How do I open an account on Vacation Rentals Lounge?
A:
Accounts on VacationRentalsLounge are free, but you need to register in order to use the site's services. To register,
simply click the Register link that appears in the top right corner:
Then select an username and a password and enter your email address. Make sure that the type of account you select is Property Owner.
It is also very important that your email address is a valid address
because that is the address where you will receive the validation code:
The first time you login you will be asked for the validation code that was sent to you by email:
After you login you will notice the quick links to your account's tools:
We suggest you to immediately log into your account and update your extended profile:
Now you can start using your account and all the site's services.
Q: How do I list a property?
A:
To list a property simply click on the menu item List Property or go to MyAccount and access the Property Dashboard:
The property dashboard is the one stop place for all your property management actions. Here you can add, edit, hide,
remove properties or simple manage their photos, rates and availability. To add a property simply click on the Add Property
button and continue as indicated.

The answer to all these questions lies in the Property Dashboard. Just look on the right side and you will see all
the commands you need to perform all these actions:
Q: How long until you approve my listings or pictures?
A:
We strive to review all listings and all pictures in 24 hours since the time
they got posted. However, sometimes due to heavy volumes it may take longer than
that. In any event, it should never take more than 2 business days to have your
listing or pictures approved.
Q: How many properties can I list?
A:
You can list as many properties as you wish. There is no limit.
Q: How much does it cost to list a property?
A:
Our listings are truly free. However, you may pay to improve your listing
position and promote your properties, if you choose to do so.
Q: How do I make my listing appear on top in searches?
A:
You are able to pay a fixed amount per month to have your listing appear in the
top searches for a certain city, county or state. You can also promote your
properties in other places on the site, like homepage, search page, events page
and so on. These advertising programs will be available to you in the late 2009.
Q: How do I use the messaging system?
A:
The messaging system is designed to allow you to communicate with other members
of the website and with your potential renters. Please be advised that the
messaging system is being monitored and you should not abuse it. Its usage is
governed by the site's terms and conditions. In regards to how to use it, it
functions just like a regular webmail system. What you have to keep in mind is
that the messaging system is not designed to be a repository for all your
communications and all messages are purged after 30 days. However, the site
keeps full track of your bookings:

After you login, click on My Account and then click on Contact. Use the form to
send us a secured message.
