Chattahoochee Nature Center - Chattahoochee Nature Center is a pristine refuge located along the Chattahoochee River. The center is a place where hawks swoop, turtles sunbathe on submerged logs, and cattails sway along the quiet riverbank. Here, nature sets the pace for your learning expedition.

Coast

Old Savannah Tours & Transportation - A complete professionally guided tour of one of the largest Urban National Historic Landmarks in the United States. A wide variety of Submarine artifacts, memorabilia and information are available for viewing, and you can checkout the beautiful St Mary's waterfront thru a real periscope.

King Tisdell Cottage - The King-Tisdell Cottage is an African-American heritage museum named for its African-American owners, Eugene and Sarah King, and Sarah King and Robert Tisdell. The museum presents the African-American historical and cultural experience to the public through the use of such methods as history and art exhibits, films, lectures, oral history, and publications.

Historic South

Georgia Music Hall Of Fame - 43,000 square foot museum features an extravaganza of music memorabilia of over 450 Georgia artists, videos, interactive exhibits and hospitality with a Georgia accent.

Dauset Trails Nature Center - There are 1100 acres of scenic woods, fields, creeks and lakes. You can see live animals on exhibit and in the wild, hike several miles of trails, enjoy wildflower landscapes, picnic and more.

Starcadia - A six acre entertainment park for the entire family. Batting cages, bumper boats, three go-cart tracks, 18-hole miniature golf course, rock climbing wall, trampoline-bungee jump, kiddie swing and pavilion area for picnics are the outside attractions. The inside attractions are arcade games, redemption center, snack bar, a ""soft play area"" for our younger guests and party rooms.

Georgia Museum Of Art - American painting is the focus of the Georgia Museum of Art's collection. The collection is especially strong in early 20th-century paintings with important works by, among others, Impressionists, Ashcan School artists and early Modernists.

Museum Of Aviation - Displaying 93 aircraft and hundreds of exhibits on a beautiful 43 acre site, the museum has grown into a significant exhibit, education and cultural center drawing more than 630,000 visitors a year.

Tubman Museum - The mission of the Tubman Museum is to educate people about African American art, history & culture.

Massee Lane Gardens - One of the world's finest collections of camellias fills a nine-acre area at Massee Lane. The Abendroth Japanese Garden, the Scheibert Rose Garden, and beautiful plantings of daffodils, daylilies, chrysanthemums, azaleas, flowering trees, annuals and perennials add to the year-round beauty.

National Science Center's Fort Discovery - Fort Discovery, The National Science Center's incredible, interactive environment on Augusta's scenic Riverwalk, invites you to grasp, to learn, and to experience the technologies involved with communications, electronics, automation, and computers. Immerse yourself in the wonders of science through live demonstrations, virtual realities, and hands-on exhibits.

Durhamtown Plantation Sportsman's Resort - Enjoy over 7,000 acres of wilderness and wildlife. Hunting, fishing, golfing, swimming, and a variety of other outdoor activities.  The facility also offers over 50 miles of trails for your horses and atvs to ride on.

Museum Of Arts And Sciences - The Museum features three floors of interactive exhibits exploring art, science and humanities. Its adjacent Back Yard contains forest, aquatic and desert habitats for the Museum's live collections. The Mark Smith Planetarium presents five new shows annually as well as a program on the current night sky which is updated weekly.

Mountains

The Ty Cobb Museum - The museum fosters education and understanding of baseball and Ty Cobb by providing art and memorabilia, film, video, books and historical archives. The museum also houses the Franklin County Sports Hall of Fame.

Blue Ridge Scenic Railway - Blue Ridge Scenic Railway passengers arriving in McCaysville, Georgia, and Copperhill, Tennessee, can look forward to visiting two states during their one hour layover. Shopping and dining opportunities await them. The McCaysville City Park at the edge of the Toccoa River is a great place for the kids to play and feed the ducks.

Gold City Corral & Carriage Service - Enjoy horseback riding, a dinner wagon ride complete with entertainment, or carriage service.

Kangaroo Conservation Center - Kangaroo Conservation Center has the largest collection of kangaroos outside of Australia. Your educational experience will be conducted by trained professionals dedicated to wildlife preservation and environmental concerns. Learn to throw a boomerang, see the new blue-winged kokaburra aviary, visit the breeding center and get a tour of the inner workings of a kangaroo farm.

Cool River Tubing Co. - Scenic 1 hour or 2 and a half hour floats down the Chattahoochee River. The facility also offers waterslides.

Thunder Road Usa Georgia?s Official Racing Hall O - Thunder Road USA is an incredible state of the art motorsports attraction.

Rose Lawn Museum - This beautifully restored Victorian mansion was once the home of nationally renowned evangelist Samuel Porter Jones. The home was developed into a museum to house the writings and memorabilia of Sam Jones and Rebecca Latimer Felton, another Bartow Countian distinguished for her role in history as the first woman to serve in the U.S. Senate.

Babyland General Hospital - Birthplace of the original Cabbage Patch Kids, Housed in the former Neal Clinic (circa 1900 )BabyLand General Hospital welcomes over a quarter of a million visitors each year. Some babies born in the late 70?s and early 80?s are on display in the father?s waiting room. Lunch in the cafeteria is always a treat for the kids.

Gold'n Gem Grubbin - Come pan your own gold and gemstones, right where the old timers fought off the Cherokee Indians in the early 1800's. Come and enjoy the fascinating history of our country's first major GOLD RUSH.

Funky Chicken Art Project - The Funky Chicken Art Project started off being a dilapidated chicken house out in the middle of nowhere. In January, 1995, transformation began to turn it into an art gallery and an outdoor sculpture garden for whimsical, contemporary, and quality works of art.

Weinman Mineral Museum - The mission of the museum is to educate and inspire a diverse audience of students, enthusiasts and visitors about geology with an emphasis on Georgia, by providing unique experiences through exhibits, programs, special events, and outreach in an engaging and fun environment.

Southern Rivers

Wild Adventures - Attractions include wild and exotic animals, amusement rides, and a variety of educational shows and concerts. The park's attractions are focused on the family and feature activities that are fun for both old and young alike.

Swamp Gravy - Folk life play. Each performance is an original, crowd-pleasing blend of comedy, drama, and music featuring a cast of more than 100 volunteers who transform southern life into unforgettable theater.

Thronateeska Heritage Center - Located in historic downtown Albany, the Foundation is composed of three major parts referred to as Thronateeska Heritage Center, the Museum of History, The Wetherbee Planetarium and the Discovery Center.

Chehaw Wild Animal Park - Chehaw Wild Animal Park features natural habitat exhibits with native and exotic animals. Visitors can stroll scenic boardwalks through the cypress swamps. Kids will love the Petting Zoo close by. Then enjoy special programs at the Amphitheater and Discovery Center and tour the Reptile and Small Animal House.

Coca Cola Space Science Center - The Center includes: Omnisphere Planetarium Theatre - Much more than a Planetarium. Challenger Learning Center - simulated Missions to the Moon and beyond. Mead Observatory - real stars, nebula and galaxies for your own eyes to see. Exhibit areas - hands on Exhibits - to amuse and inform.

Westville - Westville is a living history museum which depicts an 1850 west Georgia village. Westville has over thirty authentically furnished pre-Civil War buildings. Watch the woodworker fashion a stool from a tree. Watch the sparks fly from the blacksmith's anvil and wet clay rise to a pitcher in the potter's hands as he turns his wheel.

Butts Mill Farm - Butts Mill Farm offers wading and cane-pole fishing, feeding and petting the animals in the petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, hayrides, carriage rides aboard one of four antique carriages, horseback riding, tubing, horseshoes, volleyball, and the Wild West playground with in-ground trampoline.

Pebble Hill Plantation - Established in the l820's as a working plantation, Pebble Hill was purchased by the Hanna family in l896 and became their winter home. The Main House is beautifully furnished with antiques, sporting art, and Audubon prints. On the grounds one may stroll through the large stable complex and visit the carriage house and garage where antique vehicles are displayed.

Wild Animal Safari - One of the area's most popular attractions, the 500-acre Pine Mountain Wild Animal Safari, offers a unique, hands-on safari experience. Visitors can see, touch and feed hundreds of exotic animals from every continent - a true worldwide safari.

Callaway Gardens - Callaway Gardens is a 14,000 acre, year-round world-class horticultural display garden and resort. The Gardens include fishing, golf, biking, tennis, swimming and walking as well as attractions such as the Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center, Birds of Prey program, Day Butterfly Center, Sibley Horticultural Center, Mr. Cason's Vegetable Garden, Walking Trails, Scenic Drive and more.
